Biography

Seismic waves are the vibrations that travel through the Earth. These waves are generated by various forces. The primary types of seismic waves are P-waves, S-waves, and surface waves. 'P.waves' as named by Nuel(Emmanuel Agafie) the first course rep of Applied Geophysics, University of Benin, Signifies the first waves that arrive at a bed rock. We being the progenitor makes us the first waves of students to arrive at the university of Benin which is the bed rock used in this context. P.waves of Geophysics 18/19 session is filled with highly appreciated, esteemed and renowned individuals that helped make Geophysics a fun course to study. Good peers bring about good grades and good grades bring about good aura, it's how it has always been and why P.waves was able to excel this far. P.waves came, were experimented on and passed the test. p.waves basically set the stepping stone our younger generation uses today, and thanks to the hard work and intellectual nature of Nuel and the effort of everyone, crossing the unstable bridge of the university of Benin was made possible
